In regards to escalation, I am unclear on something. Can the upgrades you purchase round to round include increasing a pilot? for instance in round one could I have say a rookie pilot, but then in round 2 have it be Wedge instead?

As I understand it, no. The ship and the pilot are the same thing (i.e. the ship is not just a T65, it's wedge in a t65).

Yeah, the way to look at Escalation is to start with a 60 point list built as normal, then every round past the first add 30 more points to what you already have.

Nah, if anything you might find yourself at a disadvantage for the first round with a mostly unupgraded VCX and shuttle. The only restriction for the first round is you have to have at least two ships, so you couldn't start with a 60 point fat Falcon or something and call it a day, so you're in the clear there.

Played against a Dengar and IGB.list with my inquisitor/carnor/Soontir list. It went well but I think I need to change the stealth device on Soontir to a TC, but for more damage and since I need a better initiative bid.

I was just thinking a ghost could absorb way too much fire for a 60 point thing, and shoot the enemy too much. Probably will start with a wedge wes starting point actually. Give Wes VI,(Would do adaptibility, but I don't have teh card itself) have a 1 point buy, then next give them astros and IA and give wedge predator. Then, I dunno what else

Playing a tournament in two days, and have pretty much decided on this list:

RADICAL FRIENDS
100 points

Dengar - 49 points
Push the Limit
Unhinged Astromech
Punishing One

N’Dru Suhlak - 25 points
Cluster Missiles
Glitterstim
Lone Wolf
Guidance Chips

Syndicate Thug - 26 points
Ion Cannon Turret
R5-P8

Anything I should switch out, or is there some obvious flaw I'm missing? Very few here cares/knows about the meta, so there's no telling what I'm facing.

There are no legal lists that are dick moves, not really.

Though, don't play something where every ship does nothing but TLT things.

The issue with the Ghost is that it has 0 Agility and Chopper only has a PS of 4. If you can line up the shots on people regularly then sure, that's a heck of a punch, but without all the goodies that go into most Ghost lists what's more liable to happen is your opponent has a 16 hitpoint turkey shoot.

I still like SD but yeah, the TC can be better in certain situations. I think Carnor still needs it though since his survivability is lower since he doesn't have the free focus.

Though, that being said, I'd probably take my chances against 2x TLT ys with OL and Inquisitor. OL and Inq would be a great 60 point list. Yeah.

Not sure what the 30 points would be to get you to 90 though :(

Actually, you do OL/Vader, add Inq, then add the Palpshuttle.

Dang.

Well plus Carnor's value lies in his ability to deny your opponent the ability to utilize focus, so the longer he can survive the more you get to wring out of that, especially if they wind up gunning for him first. Let them exhaust themselves trying to swat Carnor down while Soontir and the Inquisitor clean up.

I forget if I got the list from here or a tournament result website, but the following setup ended up being hilariously dickish:

Biggs w/R2-D2
Kanan Jarrus w/Autoblaster Turret, Advanced Sensors, Tactical Jammer, Zeb, Recon Specialist, and Ghost
Ezra Bidger w/PtL and Phantom.

Hide Biggs behind the Ghost and regens, Kanan double-focuses every turn and reduces dice on the obstructed attacks v Biggs while throwing out his two attacks a turn.

Ghost lists in general has a high capacity for dickishness. Just a few days ago I played a guy who had a combination of a TLT, FCS, Lando, and Kanan Jarrus on his with Biggs running backup and it was the worst.

Tbf this basically sounds on par with every fat Falcon or Super Dash + Corran list I've ever played against.

Anyone interested in buying collections of wangs? I bought in heavy last fall, but it's not working out to play, and it's not as fun as I'd hoped. If there's interest, I'll put together a list and take pictures of all the smaller stuff, but i know I have the following:

1x imperial raider
1x Tantive
1x rebel transport
2x IG2000
1x Houndstooth
1x Slave 1
1x imperial shuttle
1x falcon
1x correllian ship that isn't the falcon
2x force awakens starters
1x imperial Aces
1x rebel aces
1x most wanted
3x kwings
1x vt49 decimator
1x Feldherr maxi plus bag rebel arrangement.

Assorted boosters

All of the ships include all pieces, cards, and dials.

Just what's listed above is $790 msrp sealed, but I wouldn't expect anywhere near that much for it.

Getting nowhere fast
I've been playing around with the Corran + Dash build that was posted earlier in the thread. I tried it and it worked extremely well so it's time to fiddle with it. I'm borrowing parts from the friend I play with.

How does this look?:

Dash Rendar(36)
Lone Wolf (2)
Heavy Laser Cannon (7)
Lando Calrissian (3)
Outrider (5)

Corran Horn (35)
Push the Limit (3)
Engine Upgrade (4)
R2-D2 (4)

Total: 99 Points

I've seen some people mention using BB-8 instead to turn him from good maneuverability to ludicrous. But I'm not sure it's worth losing the shield regen.

I think HLC Dash is too easy to donut hole unless you put PtL+EngineUpgrade+Kanan on there, at least imo. Unfortunately, that precludes using the PtL Phantom-esque Corran... which is why I don't run Corran with Dash anymore, but again that's my personal play style.

Do you still run Corran with a different wingman? Or Dash with someone else? Curious because I recently got both of these expansions, but haven't really done much with them.

I run Dash with someone else. Lately, I've been doing different versions of Ghost. Haven't settled on one I like the most, yet, but kinda leaning towards chopper.

e: the best Dash build right now, imo, is: Ptl+Outrider+HLC+Kanan+EngineUp

I'll be submitting mine on the 26th and not before, most likely, maybe on the 25th. If I have Vets by then or I know I'm definitely going to be able to before the tourney AND it'll be legal, I'll include it. Otherwise, not :(

But it'll probably include it in my side hangar list, assuming it's out, either way.

And assuming I don't make day two, which I, you know, am.
