Trip report: Risk of Rain plays just fine. No regrets paying for this. It's got a Spelunky thing going on where it's almost more enjoyable on a portable because the gameplay is geared for satisfying short bursts.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but wasn't Risk of Rain a game that was much better played in co-op?

Wamdoodle posted:Ooo. Trip report on Gundam Vs please. Someone else but I got this the other day. They've added in arcade and free CPU versus modes now so there's plenty of stuff to do after playing through and the only thing it lacks system-wise is the kakusei modes, though the mobile suit selection is reduced. Good fun for a handheld game but it probably won't be much use as training for the arcade - which is probably Bamco's intention. Note that there's no online either, only ad-hoc multi.

Thanks Not really interested as a training tool but if there's plenty for the single player then color me interested.

Divachat: The lack of songs and the lack of story PVs is kind of sad but they were made up for by doing a live, where you get to pick three songs in sequence, because suddenly you have slightly different versions - the intro and the bridges are altered, along with the dance cam. It's pretty cool.
