In ANY public facing role, the absolute FIRST thing you do is scrub your online history clean. There was an incident on a forum I used to go to, a few years ago, where an autistic kid learned about radio shock jocks and tried to adopt the personality of one as an alt gimmick account. He horribly misunderstood the whole concept, however, and mostly used it to hurl slurs at people. No punchline. For some reason, this sort of reminds me of that - Ben's seen quote sites like bash.org and long-running sites and forums with an emphasis on edgy/shock humor like Jerkcity and SA and such (actually, didn't he have an SA account?) and tried to emulate those, without understanding anything about what made them funny, what made them work as "something that can be identified as at least attempting to be funny". Instead we have, well, this.
