Broken marriages and ruined lives happened, but they are not the fault of Star Citizen. Even if the game came out and was 100% of what was promised, what those people have done is abhorrent, and indefensible. Strength comes from standing up and doing the right thing even when presented with overwhelming temptation. The rock star who doesn't gently caress the groupies because he's faithful to his wife. The gambling man who decides the risk isn't worth his house and family and ignores the casino right next door. And the dreamer, for whom Star Citizen represents everything they've ever wanted in a game ever since they were a child, realizing that even if it's real, it's not worth ruining their lives over. For everything else, there's MasterCard.
