I always lose the link but I love reading that article written by a guy who ran a successful TCG shop saying that hardcore turbonerds in any medium are basically the worst people to listen to and that you could do worse than to just do the exact opposite of what hardcore fans want for every business decision.

Miles Edgeworth Investigations was a really, really good entry in the series and that last case is up there with From The Ashes IMO. The Yatagarasu is awesome. there have been a couple games that tried to be fast and "old school" like Doom, like Wrack, but those games have ended up terrible it's not because the very concept is terrible, they just dont know how to make good feeling guns and level design
