Nah, they should just do what Netflix does and release all 20-something episodes in one go. That way, if one of the episodes is lovely, you can finish it and start the next one immediately rather than having to wait a week or longer with that sour taste in your mouth.

The show set itself up for absolute failure when half the season was spent on a mystery of who Zoom was, and it turned out to be the most obvious, and least interesting brand new character. They need to abandon the season-long mystery of who the bad guy is and how can Barry possibly run fast enough?! Arrow's stuck in its whole different quagmire of flashbacks, but they're the same general idea: a mystery that can't be anything but disappointing, because we already know the outcome.

Screw evil speedsters, this is how they can make season 3 good again: make Grodd the season's big bad. Make him gather parts throughout the season for a giant beam ray that turns everyone in Central City into gorillas, I don't know, just put him in there. Alternate choice if Grodd is too expensive: make the Rogues the big bad for the season. Yes, all of them, just one of them wouldn't be threatening enough, even if it's Mirror Master. You can even put Snart and Mick going back and forth between helping them and telling them off from time to time.

I've developed a significant dislike to the majority of the Arrow characters. I enjoy the majority of the Flash cast (not Jay) so even the weaker episodes are fine since I still get to see them interact.
