Did some coop and raids at some points while waiting for AP as well. I started playing earlier last week so I just tried to level up until I could consistently do Very Hard with a SSR Rosetta/Yuel/Katalina Grand Order team. I think it was about 10-11k power when I was able to do them on very hard consistently. The progression guide in the OP is a pretty good starter guide (though its host sometimes has bandwidth issues), and there's also a link to a very large guide that might be a bit overwhelming for someone fresh to the game. For now, jump into the Granblue Fighter V / Granblue Fighter Ultra events, snag a couple of event wind SR characters and battle with them in the party so they'll stay with you, work on the panel missions for some newbie stuff, and grind story (especially since story is 1/2 off) and join HARD Raids (just jump in and tap things, it doesn't screw over anyone and your EP refreshes quickly anyhow, you can feel free to get completely murdered and some high level will still carry you to victory) to try to get some exp fodder or weapon drops.

And yeah, it's tough getting higher-level players to friend you, but keep trying. Panel missions, or "Pinboard Missions" as they're known in the English version, can be accessed under the Gameplay Extras tab on your main screen. Just follow the tasks and get free stuff.

edit: e;fb on the other stuff, but holy poo poo I just got Colossus Omega summon on my first kill?!  Too bad I barely have any weapons to make use of it for now. Does anyone know how many Vulcan weapons you'd need until it starts being better than bringing a regular fire atk summon? If you go quest then special thats beside raid you'll see some quests that cycle daily, you're looking for cocytus which just cycled out a day ago and will probably be back around 18 days? But thats alright cause fighting against the same element is sorta a pain since debuffs are more difficult to apply in most cases. You should farm VH leviathan for SR weapons that have atk+ skills for water, and try to leech levi omegas for his summon later on and the SSR dagger.

The casino sells five half elixirs per day, just play some poker and scoop those up, between that, rank ups, and the daily Twitter reset, you can play a ton. Makes grinding the higher cost boss fights for the SSR Street Fighter weapons a lot easier.

N weapons: feed them to your higher-tier weapons, or even characters if all your weapons are maxed out. Soon enough you won't even want to bother picking them out of your Crate. R weapons: you can feed the No Skill ones to weapons or characters - make sure to select the "No Skill" button in the sorting options when choosing which weapons to use as fodder. Hold onto the weapons with skills, as you can use them as fodder to start upgrading the skills on your SR/SSR weapons. There's probably a spreadsheet linked in the OP about this.

Alright, I need some advice. I've seen from multiple places that light sucks starting out new. I was rerolling a bunch and now I've got a choice between an account with Percival or one with Vania. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna whale a fair bit right at the beginning here with the beginner ticket and the surprise tickets for light characters. I'm just wondering if i should go with the one with Vania or the one with Percival.

You go to Menu -> Crew -> Airship -> Upgrade and you can donate all your unneeded weapons there. There's a point system based on rarity and even though Ns only give 1 point, every little bit really adds up!

Colossus, Tiamat, Leviathan, Yggdrassil, Celeste and Chevelier raids done on hard or higher will drop summons, weapons, exp fodder and anima "keys" that you will need to farm to host the Omega versions of these raids, as well as for high-end character uncapping, since you can only do three a day these are worth doing especially since they're currently 1/2 off. You'll get one red chest for hosting it which means even if you do poo poo for damage you still have a fair shot at getting something nice. All the other ones are pretty much done once for crystals and then you move on.

Depends which tickets ya'll are talking about. Start dash/surprise tickets the character select ticket itself expires in 7 days. Start dash is tied to what was in the gacha at the time you made your account, surprise to when it was bought. Individual pulls you can get from game rewards and the 10 pull tickets you get that come with start dash/surprise last until used.
