Crowded Street is really boring but Goddamn do I love Ryu and Akuma's themes in 3rd Strike. Gill's theme is probably one of the best final boss themes around. This might be because I listened to a lot of Roni Size and poo poo when I was younger though.

Like I think the SF4 editions of Crowded Street are much better because it personalizes both versions of the themes for their respective characters and feels more like fighting game music. All of the other 3S remixes in SF4 vary from alright to decent, but none of them really outdo the original except Crowded Street for me.

Capcom did a lot to force jazz style music into their games, especially since around Alpha. I think MvC2 had the longest period of irrational hatred towards it's soundtrack, until it became nostalgia. Once they started doing fusion/rap poo poo CvS etc it was like they were giving up on the human race and deciding that their fans will not accept anything but noise in their ears while they play. It may not be everyone's cup of tea or not up to what people expect from iconic tracks, but SFV's soundtrack is one of it's definite strengths (at least in terms of music quality, not how it 'fits' or whatever.) That said, I've had SFV muted for a long time now while playing because I listen to other poo poo while I play games, but that's personal preference.

I mean SFV's soundtrack is fine for character themes and poo poo for the most part, I just wish literally any of the menu music was better and that I could listen to any of the character themes from the story mode. Sakura got a super cool rear end new version for her appearance in Karin's ending and it was loving sick and I can't find it by itself anywhere.

I think this might be the coolest version of Guile there's ever been. They finally gave him some new toys to play with. And the sunglasses are always on. It would be hilarious\awesome if they gave him CPS1 chains as a target combo. Which wouldn't be that outlandish at this point because Ryu has one with a medium and two heavies and I was like "lol wtf they seriously put this in the game?!" when I found it.

The crouch walk is interesting, but I though bazooka knee served that purpose in SF4. If guile can actually block while creeping forward, that would be reeeeal cool. For instance you could catch cammy trying to buffer her cr.mk xx spiral arrow
