Does anyone have advice on what to do with Heidel if my idea of fun is making profit as a production baron? Should I just stick to horse and inventory storage there?

I'm not remotely a production baron but I keep one lone worker in Heidel who mines zinc from Mediah.

Oh golly, I can't wait for another Korean MMO inspired by Lineage 2 :^)

At least this had some appeal to the West for "doing things moderately different" with the sandbox.

I've been itching for an MMO to immerse myself in (to escape the pain and suffering of real life, of course). This game has been hella fun so far. I'm a level 38 wizard (110 CPs) and I just got to Calpheon. I've been spending a lot of time questing & crafting. Haven't really felt the need to go grind mobs to get to 45+ yet, which is nice. There's just so much poo poo you can do in this game. Currently working on decking out my horse with Horse Gear Workshop 3 poo poo, got my sitrrups this morning! Can't decide if I want to go boat or wagon next...probably boat.

This game gets a lot of little things right. Like being able to have huge stacks of items, is there a limit to how many ores you can have in a single stack? I also like that hp/mp pots are easy to get and you can use them frequently (unlike blade & soul). Built in afk strength training & fishing is neat too, are they mining bitcoins when my game is in the system tray or something?

My only gripe is the loving escort quests. God drat that stupid wounded villager in the Khuruto cave or whatever it was, took loving forever to get her back to the soldier and the server crashed before I could turn in so I had to do it all over again.

What's up with that alluvian gold quest? I thinned like 60 bottles of river water and didn't get poo poo. And they want like 10 of them??

So this game looks interesting but I've only tried it for 15 minutes back in beta and it seemed boring as I remember running around as a hunchbacked sweaty giant named Sweaty Animedad with a wide-rear end grin with two axes being told by a black shadow monster to slaughter goblins, and not understanding poo poo out of how any of my abilities nor the abilities given by the class trainer worked. Most of my friends however have started playing this and it's apparently a blast. My only experience with MMOs are basically theme park MMOs and lately I'm enjoing Blade & Soul quite a lot, so I've a few questions.
1. Is this game incredibly grindy?
2. Is the PvP balanced like B & S? B & S, for the most part, has it down to individual skill for you to take down someone although it's not open PvP, it's mostly based on arena PvP.
3. How griefable is this game?

1: Yes it is grindy, but as it is a sandbox you can pretty much do whatever the gently caress you want, there is no determined endgame goal.

2: gently caress no, it's highly gear dependent for the top 1%, and the top 1% can steamroll the other 99% at level cap. Below that it turns into who can inhale the most health potions while down.

3: Very. Since the game practically encourages AFK grinding, goons love to run around ganking idiots who are AFK while doing fishing, travelling, whatever. You get lovely angry people who whisper you 15 minutes after you kill them and they come back to their keyboard and discover you killed them for being AFK in a PVP zone.

Also, a plan we are hypothesizing is how to block a major trade route between two major cities early in the game, and let no one though.

E: If you are confused and need help, jump into mumble and ask questions, the people in there will help you find the answer or will mock you for missing an obvious thing. Either way you will learn how to do <thing>.

I was told that it doesn't make a difference in pvp. None of those do. The big benefit of that is that most of the endgame mobs are humans and demihumans. I mean the plus of the yuria is that upgrade is +ap as well as +accuracy.

Looks like some dude tested it... it almost looks the same as AP, but I'm sure the weird exponential(?) scaling of AP doesn't apply? I don't know.

In light of this I will choose to ignore korean wisdom about what is the 'best' gear set and try something other than Yuria. I think Azwell or Seleth might be good options to +15.

For damage to humans / damage to demihumans, has anyone verified if that has an effect in PVP? I can see them doing a thing where rangers and berserkers are considered demihuman, which would be pretty interesting.

Azwell is what I'm using. Interestingly, the blue version (Destruction, etc) gets +2~+2 AP over the green version, which puts it very close to Yuria/Krea.

That depends entirely on what you want your workers to do. Even though 90% of my stuff is in Calpheon and Keplan I keep a couple workers mining constantly in the cliffside caves near Velia, though I have to manually collect the ore if I want it.

If you just mean "where is a good place for a house + bank expansion" then basically that's going to be down to personal preference to a degree. Anywhere not Ilya basically.
