This Mardu Control deck is pretty cool and Tharmaratnam played well, using Yamamoto's Avacyn as a wrath.

The deck looks great but one thing that might hurt it in the long run is that it has no interaction at all

I don't think you care about interacting when your big finish is a land that becomes a 9/7 that's difficult to interact with

It will probably be a contender for the cheapest deck in standard, or at least it will before lily becomes 25-30 bucks.

Liliana, Heretical Healer is probably taking the trophy for Mythic To Fluctuate The Most in Standard ever.

Started at like 15, shot up to 25-30, then dropped down to 7-8ish, and now it's probably going back up to the mid 20s.

ACTUALLY IT IS VERY GOOD THAT THE SHOW IS BAD AND ANYONE WHO DOESN'T REALIZE WHY THAT'S GOOD IS AN IDIOT. JUST ENJOY THE BAD SHOW INSTEAD OF THINKING.

The Lord of Hats posted:

I'd (almost) consider boarding Avacyn out of a matchup with Mardu Control (it's a slightly modified version of Hoogland's list). The deck runs 4 Fiery Impulse, 4 Ultimate Price plus GDD for flashback + Avacyn's trigger is almost always far more detrimental to the Company player since the Control deck isn't playing many creatures that would die to the trigger.
