B/G Aristocrats is doing things I would not expect a Standard deck to be able to do.

The best part is how much it doesn't care about its actual lands.

I want to watch Brad vs. Luis next round. That'd be pretty sweet to see both of those decks doing their thing.

This Mardu Control deck is pretty cool and Tharmaratnam played well, using Yamamoto's Avacyn as a wrath.

Liliana, Heretical Healer is probably taking the trophy for Mythic To Fluctuate The Most in Standard ever. Started at like 15, shot up to 25-30, then dropped down to 7-8ish, and now it's probably going back up to the mid 20s.

The Lord of Hats posted:Yeah, as soon as I saw that Avacyn come down, I was thinking "That was probably a mistake". I'd (almost) consider boarding Avacyn out of a matchup with Mardu Control (it's a slightly modified version of Hoogland's list). The deck runs 4 Fiery Impulse, 4 Ultimate Price plus GDD for flashback + Avacyn's trigger is almost always far more detrimental to the Company player since the Control deck isn't playing many creatures that would die to the trigger.
