I love the oddly specific details in this map. Siberian girls are mostly ok, but North Kraysnoyarsk girls, ugh Kazakhs are pretty, but they aren't so good looking in Karagandy (this is just a map of some economic data with the key changed isn't it)

One of my favorite random historical facts is that there was a brief period of time on the Great Plains where the mounted warriors of the plains tribes wore head-to-toe leather armor that was made as thick as possible to repel arrows; like some leather-clad version of medieval knights. Of course, that ended quickly once the first muskets were obtained from tribes to the east.
