Hey Endman, used your scum list in a local tourney, went 3-1. First three games all had zuckuss in there squad. The one I lost was due to a 2 hull k turning zuckuss rolling natural hit hit crit crit and my jumpmaster blanking out on 4 dice at range 3. Killed Trevura with a feedback array though, that was funny. Last game was a slaughter of imperial Aces, guy went to joust, Vader exploded after a protorp, and bumpmaster tied up Soontir and the inquisitor so the Zs could feedback them both to death, was pretty cool. Feedback and bid was definitely better than missiles. Hell, just remembered they won me the first game too, by zapping a YV 666 to half so my fleeing jumpmaster could take the win.

I think the key to the Zs is to never be afraid to zap anything. It's free damage and free damage is amazing, and zapping Soontir always brings a smile to my face. I'll be flying the same list at my next league night, and I might consider taking it to Regionals unless anything more fun presents itself.

None of those crew + astromech combinations are what I'd describe as brokenly good. The Attack Shuttle is so immensely fragile at it is that even with shield upgrade, Chewie and R2-D2, it'd still evaporate under focused fire, especially from Crack Shot TIEs.

There's also Miranda (our local meta is convinced) getting the medal on the Spring Kit one, so you can easically-ish nab another if for some reason you gotta do a 3 VI build.

Flew my first ever (casual) tournament sortie with the Baron of the Empire/Soontir Fel/Echo list vs Jan Ors with TLT/Keyan Farlander/Tycho, ended with 0/1, full wipe. Cloaked Echo and unfortunately barrel roll decloacked them right through a debris field due to a bad maneuver afterwards I screwed up and tried to do a red maneuver when stressed, so my opponent choose the dial and put me right at 1 distance of his upgunned B-Wing Baron got in a hit with the guidance chimps and adv. homing missile and survived to the end but still ended up eating that TLT. Definitely going to work on finding a list I'm more comfortable with with a little less fragile fighters. I think arc dodging is still something I'm not very good at just yet. Gonna have to commit the article The Gate linked to heart!

Ironically, they're the one upgrade that's arguably underpowered compared to the better spaceship game. Typically the most useful ones are 5 point one-use discards.

I should have not reflexively moused over this.  This show is actually getting decent. I'm about an episode after the Leia cameo. My 3-year-old has a favorite character. His opinion seems to be whenever Chopper isn't onscreen, the rest of the cast should be asking "Where's Chopper?" Wow, I was super excited about the 34 point generic with the EPT slot, but the Countess' ability is awesome. Granted, PS5 is a real liability, but I think I'm going to try and make her work anyway.

Defenders are hilarious and I don't regret buying two of them. Someone's standard list is probably going to end up being two Adaptable Glaives plus Countess Ryad with PtL and TIE mk2. All x7, of course.
