Toxic Mist pyro or dung pies. Dung pies also toxic you and I don't think there's a way to raise your toxic resistance so you'll probably toxic yourself too.

There's some confusion apparently about how to save Greirat in the current version, but the following should work to advance both plotlines: -Enter Irithyll -Send Greirat raiding -Tell patches where he is -Beat a boss -Greirat comes back -Buy Siegward's armor -Give it to him in the well -Meet him in the kitchen It's possible other paths also work

Then after you get your 5 levels from him, his new purpose of creating the Dark Lord from an Unkindled is complete, and thus he dies. It seems like the Pilgrims all die after they complete the task they were meant to, like the one that escorts Anri to the shrine and gives you the sword, dies after you complete the ceremony.

Katana chat: I just bought the Washing Pole, and it seems like a no-brainer over the Uchi. The only downside I see is the higher weight, and slightly higher STR requirement. The STR requirement doesn't make any difference if you're two-handing, and armor doesn't do poo poo in this game to the weight is w/e. I only fooled around with the Washing Pole a little bit, but I can't tell any difference in swing speed. Does it use a little more stamina? It's a little insane how much reach the thing has.

In Archdragon Peak, why was there a message saying if I want to go down the Path of the Dragon, don't ring the giant bell? Was it just to get the Twinkling dragon stones? If I have them, should I do and ring the bell and see what it does?

# ? Apr 28, 2016 00:55 |

Ringing the bell summons the boss of the area who you then presumably will kill, which you logically would not do if you wanted to become a dragon. From a gameplay standpoint you don't lose out on anything, it's just an in-universe thing.

I probably missed this since the thread moves so fast, but what's the thinking on dealing with estus chugging? The drink animation seems way fast in this game, and the undead hunter talisman is telegraphed and slow as gently caress. Is it really just me having to damage my way through all their estus charges? Keeping up aggression helps, but it really seems like all you need is one opportune roll and then you get an estus chug for free.

I know this because it's exactly what happened on my playthrough. the third raiding mission is 100% guaranteed fatal though.
