The plan would be for the Raiders to play 1 preseason game in Las Vegas each year, and all regular season games at the coliseum while the stadium gets built. That seems uh... ill-advised.

Christ Pseudoscientist posted:I would probably consider getting season tickets for the Raiders if they move to Vegas. It's a 4 hour drive away and with it being in Vegas it would probably be super easy to flip the tickets to out of town fans for games I couldn't attend. It's only a 1.5-2 hour plane flight from me so it'd be easier to see them than traveling to Oakland. I used to drive down to Nashville to watch them play when I lived in KY and I think that was a 3 hour drive. Flights from DIA to Vegas are pretty cheap too.

DOOP posted:Vegas Raiders will completely upstage the Vegas NHL team It's why I see the NFL going through with it. Vegas is getting a sports team eventually no matter what, let's be honest. At least this way they would be able to say they were the first to technically do it instead of just talk about it, and if it's anywhere near as successful as both leagues have assumed it'd be, they're the first to immediately profit from it. If this goes to a league vote, I see it passing.

If they stay, they can just stop trying to fight the sewage problem and embrace it. Develop a resistance to it and turn it into a homefield advantage.
