Walked by this car at work a bunch of times before finally taking a closer look and seeing it was the real deal. Pretty sad, I'm just going to assume it's a salvage title.

Probably the park bench on the trunk. Decent looking paint for an almost 20 year old highly sought after (by thieves) car.

They're not valuable cars any more and the honda scene isnt what it was in the late 90's/early 2000's. You can buy them with clean titles for 5-6k now.

I'm amazed he didn't immediately crash when that broke. Seems like the sort of catastrophic failure that would result in a wheel leaving the swing arm with haste.

bigbillystyle posted:So you drew the short straw. Should the cop ignore you with the dead tail light and pull over the car tailgating so that guy can complain about people with broken tail lights driving around while he gets hosed with for following too close? No doubt - the point I'm making is that it's somehow OK for a police officer to run around in an unmarked car, with super dark tint, yet other people around that have the same dark tint routinely get pulled over. Same cops around here will drive recklessly and swerve in and out of traffic, without their lights on at all, or tailgate people without their lights on and get pissed when that person can't tell it's a cop and doesn't pull over. Maybe the better way to explain it is - why the gently caress is a cop blatantly ignoring someone running a red light or tailgating, causing a possible legitimate accident? What about my burned out tall light bulb was so important that someone barreling through a stoplight is less important, considering he could've cited the guy for speeding and failure to yield instead of wasting 10 minutes on a fix-it ticket for something that's a non-issue? It's loving retarded logic.

It's the cult of authority. You have to do what the cop says because he says so, and gently caress you. And don't ask impertinent questions like those unless you like be sodomized with a baton.
