Got mines but I have a few friends that have been offering 20k for a charge for half a year and haven't gotten any bites.

If you play blue probably best to get this done before people stop playing and puppet strings are lost through attrition of players.

currently 1 charge dropping string owners can petition to get 10 charges, but nobody bothers and it takes forever. it took gongshow weeks to get his strings fixed and he's rl friends with sirken.

I have a sad brain so I made a semi-automated script to run zone textures through one of the newer up-scaling algos twice (waifu2x). It actually looks pretty good, although I picked two of the shittiest zones (mistmoore and uguk) to try it on first. http://imgur.com/a/E13C4 Gonna try and get a couple more of the most popular zones and then I'll have to find a place to host them. I'd like to work a cartoony filter in there also to go with the vectorized player model textures.

Texture upscaling can look really awful depending upon the game resolution and the texture resolution and stuff, but that looks pretty good actually, keep it up. I wouldn't mind trying those out at all. Troll posted:Confirmed, looks like at least old texture animations are created simply by applying a series of textures in order, so they get up-scaled with the rest. Sweet If you need a place to host it, dropbox gives you 4GB by default and you can 'earn' several more GB pretty easy.

Turned off advanced lighting, everything looks better. It seriously looks like it just applies a super intense light to arbitrary pieces of geometry.

Advanced lighting doesn't play well with character models either in my experience, they're too low poly. The flat lit classic everquest is how it was meant to be!

That other guy was a good distance ahead of him, wonder why the person filming got FTE. I'm surprised the rules don't say that to be FTE you actually need a raid force there with you. Unless they're all running in behind guy filming.

Whoever gets FTE scores an hour of uninterrupted time for their guild or whatever. After that hour, I think it's FFA. Again, I may be understanding wrong. I haven't played in years, just still keep up with some drama.

I have a 41 rogue and shaman, a 14 druid, and a naked 34 cleric and 19 enchanter (I don't like the enchanter). I'm available after 12am PST, usually, but some days I'm totally available. I'd be playing, but I really dislike soloing and finding groups can be a drag, so the most I do is check this thread and read the p99 forums. EQ is a lot of effort.

I got my 43.8 shaman doing specters in Feerrott; I'll keep camping these to 46 at least, maybe more if the xp is still good after that. I really want to try to tag along a PoF raid to get my child's tear. My 27 SHD is currently camped with full SHM buffs at the sister's island in OOT, I want to see if it's possible for a melee class to take the sisters hut for cash/xp at that level. Might end up going to the gargoyle island if that doesn't work out.

Fear was revamped back in October of November, and now the golems are proper raid mobs with three day respawn timers (used to be eight hours). The golems now drop other desirable loot too, so they've usually contested and killed asap. Child's Tears are a lot more rare now, and no one picks them up for free by tagging along on a raid anymore. Your best bet for picking up a shaman epic at this point is to join a guild that actively raids the golems. I think that's currently Divinty and Anonymous, mostly. Your other option is to save up ~65k plat to buy a tear from one of these guilds (don't do this, that's money better spent on a fungi and/or torpor). I suggest just joining a guild. High level shamans need a lot of resources in order to be effective, and doing this on your own without the support of a guild would be extremely difficult. Shaman soloing after level 50 is pretty lovely without an epic, and nearly impossible after level 55. A level 60 shaman without torpor may as well not be a shaman at all.
