But then hundreds of people lose their minds because all their Eve possessions are going to be lost in hostile null stations and you just can't stop shipping to go play some FO4. You have to finish it. And I really didn't expect there to be so much of it or for things to take so long. Through the whole thing I was certain that there was just another two or three days left before things were done.

I would really have appreciated that kind of work if we weren't in the middle of an evacuation effort and things were hanging on hours.

I checked, the price would have been about 500m per jfload so it wasn't crazy to ship it it, but it was crazy to waste anyone's time with it when i could easily afford the hit since i'd bought it all at firesale or prepatch prices and i can just get it back in a month or two and other people needed their packages out i can probably buy a whole lot more at firesale prices once the current residents get shown the door too, should get some more buys up

I get the feeling that a lot of goons have dispersed into separate space guilds but I'm too new to SA to know why or where. Do I even want to know?

Serious quesiton, how did FCON get all their poo poo out? A month ago they were losing a titan every day trying to move, I would have thought all the lines would have been permacamped. Did they actually move their supers to Imensea or did they just give them up and/or will log them back in when we retake our space?

We did cover branch for a three day window and all outstanding contracts from all Branch stations were completed. As for supers? Logged off and unsubbed until PL goes away or dead. Those that didn't make it to Saranen.

I really have to wonder about FCONs capital stash though. I've got no idea what happened to the GSF stash but even if it's still holed up in CCP-US at least that is feasible to take back and recover in the short term. Given FCONs stance until nearly the end I can't imagine they evac'd that.

Lotsa people tends to forget EVE is just a game, you should treasure the friends you made, friendships earned in the game. A metaphor would be that you became good buddies with some dude working together, he got head-hunted to much better company in the same field, you have to keep in mind your friendship is independent of where you guys working at, you shouldn't be bitter that he is getting somewhere, he shouldn't bash the workers of his old company, you two should still hang out for a beer depending on the travel distance.

I went on 2 nullsec fleets last night. First time responding to a nullsec ping in about 18 months. One was a swordfleet, the other was a caracal fleet to get rid of the MOA caracals that were preventing our sword fleet from swording or fiesta cats from partying or clown shoes from joking or something. Maybe part of it was the FC not explicitly telling us what we were doing (beyond sitting on a gate) or why we were doing it, but nullsec fleets seem very confusing. But apparently we got cake? I didn't see any cake tho.
