Thanks for that chart. When do you guys expect the Sakura Taisen event? Edit for top of page: Drakes posted:Event patterns generally go by sidestory>celestial(usually)>conquest>GW repeat, I've seen a month they they've skipped celestial or GW. And I had this chart floating around for awhile, basically suggests how much you should prioritize on events.

So Awful Goons, Should I increase the drop rate crew skill to 15% for 200k?

Scoss posted:I am farting along around rank 20 not really sure what I'm doing. I'm around there myself and as far as I can tell what you want to do besides run dark fencer is try to skim off any event rewards you can, especially characters, and to hit max level with whatever spread of weapons you got. This event is pretty good since the coins you get tend to give a good amount of angel weapons in the event gacha. I'm hoping I can get strong enough to properly fight lvl 20 event bosses, pretty much the street fighter bosses, like this.

Speaking of level 2 boosts, I bought the second green potion one for Screwball but have not seen how to actually implement it, my only guess is that it doesn't update until you refresh the buff.

Yeah, I couldn't find a way to dump the existing buff so my guild just had to let it run out before we could use the new and improved gear. Also having discovered the Hard 2-1 coop room, I can't believe how much exp, gold (from selling pinwheels) and drops you can get from it. If you are in direct need of exp then slime rooms are fantastic.

Yoda Protip (which is a pretty obvious one but might help newbies): When you're raiding during the guild bonus hours, Yoda's doing 99% of your damage. So gently caress off the rest of your SR/SSR team and stick in some random rares. You'll receive a significant medal bonus for having rares in a raid battle, without really impacting the damage you're doing. It's win/win for you.

I feel kind of sad seeing that. I mean if it makes them happy then whatever, but you really can go a long way in this game starting with SRs and Rs and just building a solid weapon pool. You realy don't need to reroll a million times or whale out to start.

If I'm not going into something I expect to be a close fight, I'll stuff a couple of Rs into the sub slots to get them some levels. I'm not yet so awash in materials that I can afford to max limit break non-primary characters, but I am working on polishing them up to mess around with.

Yup. There are cases where characters that don't fit in well on my mono teams (Dark Lunalu) can be replaced by strong ones from others (Light Jeanne) and performs better even off element for stuff like the current event, whereas for fighting super strong bosses (Ignis from the Suzaku event) who have millions upon millions of hp, doing 5% of 20 million hits the damage cap and if Lunaru manages to mimic that it's a cool 700k damage twice. I found out she can mimic Barowa's Bluff for two shots at potentially insane damage! Then again some characters are just garbage or outclassed by more rare versions, who aren't particularly fantastic either. Farrah is cute and all but all her SR form has is nuke after nuke -- I have to admit, useful to have Blade Dance for when I gotta clear out a bunch of fodder enemies fast, but there's not much support to be had from her kit. Watching her fall over due to ougi / low health is always funny, though.

Boots and Blades has been kind to my poor starter self. Story was a ton of gems, and since I got Lucifer in my starter gacha this event has been helping me start building a mediocre weapon grid. Got two maxed out tyrant bow, one maxed tyrant spear, and need just one more Druj to max him out. I'm hoping by the end of the event I get lucky on Druj drops and get a few harps so I can max one of those out too. Now I just need some light characters other than Vermeil, though for a rare he has been amazing damage.

I saw this floating around and thought it was interesting. It's an SSR guide for ticketing, but it goes much more in depth on each SSR's specifics that the spreadsheets don't really touch on that much. Moreso than a ticket guide, this seems much better as a "I just pulled this character and are they good/how do I use them?" guide.

I finally got Magisa up to lvl 80 and so I was excited to see what uncapping to five stars was actually like. First off, there was a 3 part Fate Episode at 30 AP a piece. For that much AP I figured I should bring my best team, at least for the first one. Episode 1 was a 3 part fight against level 35 enemies. Not really too rough, but I'm glad I brought my best team. The second one was 1 part again against level 35 enemies and it was really easy. It made me pretty confident I wasn't going to have too much trouble on the final episode. Episode 3 was a five part fight. The first four were all groups of level 35 enemies. The fifth one was two level 60 enemies. They didn't have overdrive bars and their charge bars were three diamonds a piece so while it was difficult, it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. Between Dark Fencer, Fire Metera and Percy I was able to keep the Light-element one from filling his charge while I blasted the Wind-element one. Victory achieved! Well, almost.

Do you guys spam potions or something, I feel like initially I would rank up pretty often and that way ap wasn't limiting but around late rank 20 i can do like 3 quests and then run out. Also people have been recommending coop but I find the rewards are pretty insignificant when joining random rooms?

Starting out you want any weapons you can get and level them up to increase your attack. Later you want weapons from a specific element with skills that boost that element. Even later you want to break out the charts in that first link to find the proper mix for your team.

Get weapons with ATK skills, get ATK skills of different categories since they're multiplicative. You've got normal(unlabeled/baha weapons), magna(M), unknown(EX), enmity normal, enmity magna. Unless a weapon has both ATK and enmity people usually don't worry about it so much.Sizup posted:Do you guys spam potions or something, I feel like initially I would rank up pretty often and that way ap wasn't limiting but around late rank 20 i can do like 3 quests and then run out. Ranking up is really helpful opening up more worthwhile raids to leech, and yup spam potions for meaningful events to farm. Always try to empty the casino of daily pots/berries.

Sizup posted:Are you actually grinding poker/slots to get the potions, or just spending rupees? Early on you pull whatever pity chips you can find poking around the casino grounds, maybe buy a few hundred chips and try to play 10-chip poker your way up from 100 to a few thousand, move to the 100 bet tables, make ten thousand and be pretty stable, and then after you make a few hundred thousand you can stop and buy all the potions/seeds from the casino stock. Double Up gets pretty crazy, if they didn't have caps on the win limit poker would be the undisputed go-to for the casino. As it is, Bingo leads to bigger wins but you can lose 30 games in a row and be out 3 million just as easily as you can win 3 out of 4 rounds and be up almost three million.

I've found that the best way to play bingo is similar to blackjack. This is for whatever room and however many coins it takes. I start with 1x the minimum, and when I lose, make it 2x, then 3x, and so on until I win, which will win me back more than I've spent. You just have to be careful to choose a 1x that is small enough that you won't go broke first.

Shinino Kage posted:I'll periodically see 'Combo Chance' on my summon while an attack is going on. What does this mean and how does it work? When someone else in a raid uses a summon if you use one of yours next you'll get the active bonus effect of both summons. IE: If you see a combo chance and it displays Grand Order, if you use one of your summons you'll get the super useful attacks restore HP portion of the Grand Order summon's active.
