I never thought we would swerve into "optimism vs cynicism" but now that we have I'm so glad. it's always been in the background now that I think about it(and even recently with beard dude always droning about how this is the only way and can't you see i'm doing the right thing by loving over everyone ever???? you're the real criminal here etc etc) so maybe i'm just unobservant and dumb. Despite being in the middle of an action scene, it still works great as a closing act. If that was the final scene of an animated adaptation's season then I think it'd be pretty satisfying.

Helck, the depressing manga and the good guys striving to undo the depression. It's really covered an impressive amount of ground in around 70 chapters, I'm looking forward to Helck and Anne from management finally getting back to demon territory and trying to figure out how to save mankind. Sounds like it'll lead to a quest arc to a foreign land to me, which suits me just fine. Show us more of the crazy world, thanks.
