Brans past-vision was pretty useless plot-wise. Which means it's probably a soft introduction of the young-versions, and building to something...and it was simultaneously noted that he's not going to stay here forever. So does that mean that his entire time with Bloodraven this season is going to be a slow walk to the Tower of Joy finally becoming explicit? If that's what's happening I think it's not a terrible idea. The "climax" for the season is going to be some sort of convergence of whatever resurrected Jon is up to and the revelation on R+L=J.
