I've been wondering that myself... Don't know if I've seen a single shot of him yet (or at least one longer than showing he exists)

It's weird because I watched his F40 vs F50 video recently and he was VERY excited in that video and it's very hard not to love him because of his enthusiasm for cars so not having clips of him hooning something and screaming "Oh my god, this is something else!" seems like a missed opportunity. Seems they're pushing the Le Blanc/Evans 'friendship'

I just wanted to mention that the last Top Gear US was great. They raced at Lemons. It's fantastic.

I think I get why History Channel is doing this weird season thing. If someone wants to download the show, no one knows what season it is.

I agree.

Also, I guess Tanner isn't the Stig (anymore)?

I loved the Tire Burn in a Truck challenge. The other two do impressive burns, then Tanner does this:

I just watched the first three episodes, they were pretty good. They seem to have better chemistry now and it looks like they finally got someone besides Tanner to be the stig.

Didn't Tanner race The Stig at one point? It was that a time trial?

Watch the last episode of season 1, America's Toughest Truck. That's the first real special they do. Then just go through wikipedia. If there's a guest, the episode probably sucks. Look through the description and see if it is something you want to watch. Once they stop doing guests it's pretty much just all top gear specials. They copy Top Gear UK on a bunch of them but they are still pretty decent. The early seasons have a lot of "ohh who's going to win the challenge and get to drive the super car? It's always Tanner, and if someone else wins, their job is to deliver the car to Tanner and then he hoons it and talks about it for a bit. The show exists to have the three of them do stupid challenges and then sometimes Tanner drives a really fast car. They've at least finally gotten someone besides tanner to play the stig so they can have scenes where both of them are in the same shot.

I dunno, I thought S1E3 and S1E5 were fun. I mean, they're real rough around the edges but I enjoyed them.

edit: S2E2 as well from what I remember. S2E5, S2E6, S2E11, S2E16, S3E3, S3E8, S4E1, S4E2, and I don't think I've seen the rest of season 4 or 5.

I like cheap car challenges, what can I say?

Except that they've raced a jet. And had a motocross bike jump a car. And done Reliant Robin poo poo until it was run into the ground.

Basically, it's shaping up to be Top Gear redo using lesser hosts.

Um, that was his point. But speaking of running poo poo into the ground, don't forget what the original crew were seen tooling around in after the Amazon deal was announced.

I'm not exactly expecting innovation from either show. Recall that one of their last episodes was literally a beat for beat redo of their London race in Moscow Leningrad.
