This week I actually went back to the beginning and started listening from episode 1 again. I've listened to them all at least once before, but goddam the show emerged just about fully formed from the very beginning. I kind of miss the slightly rawer, casually homophobic, casually racist 2006 Jah. His bit from episode 5 about interracial porn being the best of all worlds except for the intimidation that strikes him whenever the black dude talks is absolute gold.

Seth would be much more subdued in front of an audience than he would be in the studio, but Jonathan would get on stage with more energy than usual and pretty much carry the shows sometimes - Jonathan seemed to be in his element when there was a crowd to entertain right from the start.

In Ep. 372. they were talking about watches and Seth states that he doesn't wear a watch, have a cellphone, or a clock in his 'Dance. He says, "I just get there early, bring something to read" and explains that the other week he annoyed his barber by showing up an hour and a half early. Seth is so weird. In a charming way. There is a Steak n Shake in my town and they have the best burgers I think I've ever eaten so I take offense to the Steak n Shake takedown.  edit: holy poo poo I looked it up and steak n shake was founded in my town. thanks uhh yeah dude for being vicariously responsible for me learning of this

I can't stand their burgers but their shakes are good. Kind of hard to gently caress up a milkshake though. What do you guys think the hobby from the Ask Amy was? Disc Golf? Freestyle Canoeing, competitive bean bags, rally cars? I need to know.

It's actually funny that he hates it because in college I had a friend from LA who had never been to Steak n Shake and I took her to one and she loved it. Different strokes I guess.
