they don't bother to address those things because they think that the world is the same as where they live. electricity is reliable and plentiful! hiking trails have regular charging stations!

Oh, awesome, glad someone did it. You can see the 5-generator array in that video for a second, I'd estimate 15-25 kW, they probably get on the order of liters per hour. I'm not even going to try to figure out how much flexible solar mat (or plutonium) you'd need for that.

Update on kickstarted birth control: They need $127k top produce and package the gel they need for clinical trials
https://www.parsemusfoundation.org/contraceptives/vasalgel/raising-funds-vasalgel-manufacturing/

From some guy on reddit:

Not even close.
Dismal response from male volunteers has hit the ongoing extended advanced clinical trial of male contraceptive injection, RISUG (Reversible Inhibition of Sperm Under Guidance) in the country. When developed, this will be the first of its kind of birth control method in the world.
However, two years on, only 64 volunteers against target 500 participants have registered themselves for the advanced study being conducted by the India Medical Council Research (ICMR) of the Health Ministry in its centres across the country.
This is a country where people regularly rent out their wombs and sell their kidneys. The development of RISUG/Vasalgel has been shadier than a Bill Cosby sleep over.

Isn't the backpack too heavy to carry?

If you compare it with a regular backpack, then yes, it weighs 17lbs. But we are talking about a portable electric vehicle, so compared with a regular bike or other portable electric vehicles it weights less than half of most of them. Also, we've added a really cool feature that allows you to roll the MOVPAK instead of wearing it, making that option perfect for inside of buildings or even going through the hallways at your school or university. If you are going upstairs or downstair then go ahead, wear it using the straps and you will be fine.

the motors are inside the wheels but they say it's capable of 20mph lmao

admire that guy's ability to sell factory China stuff at a like 8,000% markup. and on the scale of 'feeling bad for making money' doing it by selling morons 8000% markup metal balls is pretty close to sleep-like-a-baby territory

Seriously though the balls might be 4$ but freight charges must dwarf that. I wonder how many are non dented and poo poo too by the time you look through them.

shipping is a lot cheaper than you expect, especially weight matters a lot less than how many you can fit into a container

consider how much shipping actually costs when you are in the fruit/vegetable ailes sometime

Many people want to know more about 9-11. We are like a Mythbusters for September 11th. It's an important project for many reasons. Many people doubt various details of 9-11. As the world has changed our trust in government and media has declined significantly. We want to see for ourselves. We don't need people to guide our thinking. In this project we will recreate 9-11 to the best of our ability given the funds raised. Our ultimate goal is a fully loaded 767 and a similar structure to the WTC. We will crash the fully loaded (with fuel) plane (complete with black box) into the building using autopilot at 500 MPH
