So I am working on my Eldar Corsair list in order to figure out my money spending, and I have a nice 1500 list together. That being said, I am torn about how to arm my Phoenix. My options are stock pulse laser, twin linked Sun cannons, or twin linked bright lances. (Other armament includes 2 shuriken cannons, and 2 Phoenix missile launchers)

Exercises in not sounding like a psycho/sociopath. Rape isn't exclusive to fiddling with your inny/outy bits, just putting it out there. Being a floating ball of muscled knots isn't all it's cracked up to be.

It's interesting how sparse it seems compared with salute. It other news I have just got some evil heads from maxmini. I haven't used them yet but they are very crisp and detailed. I got some secret weapon gas mask heads which seem good too. I am going to use them with my new veermyn to make mutant miners for my cult militia.

I know they look cool, but man power fists on captains in power armor are not very useful. Maybe he can hit at initiative or something goofy.

Base is done, took me the better part of the day to cut a knight in half. For now (unless I decide to pin it) the Ghorgon is held on by magnets, it'll definitely make painting much easier.

Did Forge World release a drop pod back in the day? I foolishly bought someone's Space Marine lot and one of the drop pods is heavy resin. It's very similar to the plastic kit, but about 90% the size and subtly different in sculpting, so I don't think it ia a bad recast.

Yeah, there used to be a Forgeworld drop pod IIRC. It was featured in the IA3 Talos Campaign book, and featured a version that was just a pod that opened and unleashed a poo poo ton of missiles or something, so there must have been a model.

The shooty pod is a Deathstorm or Deathwind, can't remember the precise name. In 30k at least it's between 80-120 pts depending on upgrades. Drops down, unleashes D3 shots (eg that's D3x4 assault cannon shots) at everything within 12" at bs2, then fires it's 5 guns separately at bs4 subsequently. You can give it 2 krak missile shots per gun which tbh is quite dangerous to leave in the back field.

I believe it looked like it had space for 5 Marines instead of ten, and wasn't as hollow as the plastic pod. There's a blog from 2009 with it here.

I have a quick list building question in regard to my Eldar Prince. What seems more valuable. Giving my jetbike mounted HQ Rampage, and his jetbike escorts (3 jetbike riders, and one jetbike baron armed with venom blades and 3 scatter lasers) rage, or giving my HQ the Mask of Secrets in order to make him fearless and confer -2 ld? The rage/rampage also forces them to assault any enemy unit within 8 inches, but allows them to shoot at one unit, then assault the 8 inch unit if I want. jadebullet fucked around with this message at 15:28 on May 16, 2016 |
