I remember people saying this when I maxed out my 500gig drive in the first calendar year. Now got about 30% space left on 2TB, although I admit I can delete a lot this time.

It wouldn't be that big of a problem if you didn't have to install every disc game to the hard drive. I've been juggling the data on my 500gb drive for the last year because I seriously don't want to lose my PT demo.

I think they changed that. I was able to get to it to remote dl to vita via webstore. Haven't done it on Vita yet.

Just tried to DL via Webstore to my Vita. It does say "download to all your Vitas" but clicking the button does gently caress all. Oh well, live and learn I guess.

(US account if that matters.)

It does work, it just takes it sweet time. Try restarting your vita and letting it sit for 2 hours. I've sometimes had downloads start 2 days after clicking "download to vita".

Most Wii U games are built in a somewhat-restricted fashion. There's one enclosed level with specific assets which stays in memory for the most part, maybe with streaming voice or something like that as needed from the disc. But you don't really have Grand Theft Auto-style games.

No, it does not work. Even outside of the Vita itself, the button doesn't queue anything. I tried it multiple times and then tried the one on Ghost of Sparta. The latter queued instantly and started auto-downloading within a couple minutes. It's literally a problem specific to the store listing for VC2.

It's listed in the store as a theme rather than a dynamic theme so it's probably just a still, which is unfortunate because I would probably get it if it moved

Mithaldu posted:

I love rogue-likes, i love the diva games, but together it's just eh. You have to do all the considerations of a rogue-like in playing, every music beat the game advances one turn, if you do an action off beat, or skip a beat, your multipliers reset, and every level has a time limit in that you lose if the song ends. I can see how that can appeal to others, but for me it just resulted in jumping back and forth a lot while thinking, and running out of time.

You don't lose if the song ends except with the pacifist character and the two challenge characters who take damage when missing a beat. With most of the characters if you run out of time you drop to the next floor. If you killed the miniboss on the previous floor, you start the floor normally. If you didn't, you have to face a penalty room first which is challenging but doable.

For awhile while you play and get used to enemy patterns there's definitely a lot of thinking to be done but once you get used to how different enemies act and get a good sense for when you can be aggressive and when you should retreat, the game has this really nice pace. Another thing I like about the game is that it's totally reasonable to overcome any situation with skill, so while good items are nice and make a run faster or give you more options for handling situations, even if you don't find good items you can still win without any one fight feeling like a chore.

Maybe someone here knows the answer to this : I want to get the witcher 3 dlc for my region (UAE). The problem is that it is currently banned there.

I can get a download code from a retailer other than psn. But I want to know if I can still redeem the code on psn even though I couldn't buy it there.

You got the game on disc? What language options do you have in settings?

You'd have to get a matching region dlc code and make a new psn account for that region. If you activate the account on your PS4 you're fine to play on your main account.

Not at home but it has English and some other choices for voice and English or Arabic for text if I remember correctly. I know for a fact that it is the middle east version of the game. Tried to buy the dlc on the English store and it wouldn't redeem.

You need to get the DLC from a Middle-Eastern territory where the game isn't banned, as Witcher 3 has a Middle Eastern-specific release with Arabic text as an option, which is a different SKU than the other versions of the game (North American, European, Asian etc.) so you'll need DLC to match or it won't work. It's banned in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, but not any other Middle-Eastern region: Bahrain, Lebanon, Oman and Qatar all have the DLC. So you create a new account with Bahrain or whatever set as your home country. Whichever account you create you'll need to be able to get a region-specific DLC code for, or be able to fund the account somehow so check online for point cards to make sure you can get what you need. All regions it seems you can choose between an English or Arabic account as well, which is permanent and influences the store's layout and possibly things like movie availability but I'm almost 100% sure in your case makes no difference for games.

If you're fully signed out of PSN (or signed in with an English Bahrain PSN account) this is a link to the English Bahrain Witcher 3 DLC: https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-bh/games/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/cid=EP4497-CUSA01441_00-0000000000000005%3AADD-ONS

Looks like the season pass in all regions is $24.49 which I think is USD, but you'll need either a credit card with a Bahrain billing address (prepaid credit cards might work) or PSN money cards specifically for the Bahrain region, US PSN cards I'm pretty sure won't work.

Kind of confusing though considering they are all region 2. I don't know why they have to make it so vexing.
