If anybody cared about racism for real they'd talk about fixing the core issues that exasperate racism. As a result, I rarely actually like to talk about racism when that same person doesn't seem to even have an opinion about the why of anything at all. Of course all the real problems are hard, which is a whole other reason why its so fiercely ignored.

Socioeconomic factors (poor infrastructure, no good jobs, horrible schools, etc) disproportionately affect certain races and ethnicities, which is the kind of thing that would ideally come up in those discussions I keep going on about.
