The squirrels have found the bird feeder. It was only a matter of time. Yesterday it was one. Today its two. The enemy has so far just been patrolling the grounds, but I fear its only a matter of time before they make an attempt at the cache itself... Time for war.

And then they want me to close Friday (meaning I get home at about 2 am) then come in for a mandatory meeting (which I've been told is largely for morale boosting purposes) on Saturday at 9 a.m. You are legally required to have 8 hours between end of shift and start of another. I had the same parameters and chose pathfinder over the highlander. Pathfinder is bigger and the CVT drives smoother. I probably should have gotten a used Flex ecoboost, because that would be awesome. My 2014 Pathfinder has had a transmission and two transfer cases, so I think it was built the day after superbowl when everyone was drunk. It gets terrible gas milage compared to the advertised, but thats because its huge and heavy. Anything will drive down a dirt road, (we take my wife's e61 on rough logging roads and its fine) so don't let that sway you. e: Midsize, I guess thats smaller than a pathfinder, so who knows. I rented a Chevy Traverse and it comes with rougher tires but drives worse. Fine for a rental or if you find one free

The Locator posted:I pay my co-pays at the time of the visit, but I'm sure if I did something stupid like forget my wallet, they'd let me pay it later. Of course that depends on having a regular doctor I'm sure. Pretty much. Your doctor will bill insurance. Insurance will indicate how much the visit should cost (negotiated rate) and pay whatever insurance has agreed to pay. You are responsible for the remaining amount, which includes your co-pay. If the doctor notices the negotiated rate is $100, the insurance paid $90, and the doctor doesn't have a record of getting $10 from you, the doctor is gonna send you a bill for $10 (your co-pay). Generally you've paid up front (your insurance typically requires it), so you don't even see any of this unless you log into your insurance's website to look at claims. For new providers, I typically do what I can to not pay at time of visit, and have them bill me later. So far I've had two providers in the past that either over charged me on co-pay (insisted they were a specialist, insurance said they weren't), or didn't bill insurance until like 4 months after the visit (at which point insurance denies the claim and the provider is supposed to eat all the costs), and in both cases it took sternly worded letters from a lawyer to get the provider to refund what was due to me. They all want your money, and once they have it, they refuse to give it up.

Thank god that's dead and we're now in the future where it's as easy as everything requiring you to fill out some lovely form that takes 10 seconds to load and bits of work randomly goes missing for hours at a time. Also if somebody tells me again that this is about having a "Clear Line of Sight" into what's going on I'm going to lose it.
