Yeah, last year's total was high because of the avalanche at base camp, many keep base camp and above as counting. Change the numbers to "Rich people" and "Total People"

Because now days people summit in tourist coach sized parties perhaps the more important achievement is dying on Everest. First Celtic Vegan to die on Everest (etc.) Obviously this means we too have become part of the problem but what's the desecration of a holy mountain against a few cheap laughs?

So that australian lady who died was my vet's wife and i was joking earlier that i hoped he died on everest because the replacement vet was way nicer (MY GIRLFRIEND apparently knew the wife through the cat rescue org) My question is thusly, do i have slightly innacurate superpowers?

Sherpas are assholes profiting off the Mountain's thirst. They aren't people, they are demons to the glorious Mountain. Those Sherpas who die have displeased their Master and have been returned to the hell which they came. The base camp avalanche and Khumba Icefall Avalanches occurred as the Mountain finally enacted its revenge at the Sherpas for chasing Ueli Steck and his friends off the Mountain before it could feed on their delicious blood and souls. The Mountain remembers. The Mountain will have its revenge. Blood for the Mountain God. PS Didn't we already have the Sherpa's aren't people debate? I'm pretty sure I counted them as 3/5 in my deathpool vote.
