So I finished the first Uncharted. In the next to last area, I was like "this game is a lot more fun that I remembered, and I don't think it's aged too badly" and in the final area I was like "this game is garbage. I can't believe they made the most unfun ending possible". Overall, it was still pretty great, the "exploring"/"platforming" was a bit better than I remembered, but the combat was just as bad. I look forward to playing Uncharted 2 next.

It wasn't until the last act when all the enemies became complete bullet sponges that took two headshots to kill that it started being lame. And then in the final level, YOU CAN"T USE A PISTOL, so instead of using the weapon that I've been the most comfortable with for the entire game, it dictates that I first use a shotgun, and then use an assault rifle, both of which are garbage weapons. It felt pretty bullshit having the choice that I've had the entire game taken away right at the end, for a completely arbitrary reason.

I picked up Armored Core V at the library today because it said you get to customize big robots, I dont know if its any good but I hope it is cause I want ot make big robots fight rawr kaboom fire the lasers

The non-sped-up one has really awful pacing for an action sequence. Needs to be snappier. Also I was surprised to learn it was an intro cutscene?? It doesn't tell me anything about anyone besides "They all shoot da guns."

the part where the heavy and the gunsmith are getting out and dusting themselves off feels out of place. i think the elf ciri part works. after that it kind of falls apart and i stop caring. especially the metal gear excelsus part
