the original Japanese could be transliterated either way (エアリス earisu), "Aeris" just happened because the game's translation was, like most other RPG translations at the time, done by like one dude on a terrifyingly extreme time limit, resulting in poo poo like "this guy are sick" because that line was probably done at 3:30 AM on a diet of caffeine and self-hatred. The name is supposed to be "Aerith" because it evokes "Earth," and she's been called Aerith in everything related since, but also if you care about it that much there is no hope for you. I'm a nerd. I don't actually have my own IoSM, I have a few conservative acquaintances but they're generally pretty reasonable and well-mannered with their opinions. Worst I have is a shithead I knew in high school who has since become a vehement police apologist. e: I have heard it's Aerith because that's an anagram for "I, Earth" but also that sounds exactly like the "move the truck to get Mew" schoolyard bullshit of every dork's youth so Panic! at Nabisco has a new favorite as of 08:59 on May 23, 2016 |

I just ask since in my iOS game and I think in the version i downloaded for my PS4 she's called Aeris by default and I honestly think it sounds better than Aerith (although the earth thing makes sense I suppose) I just did some googling about a puzzle and happened upon forum posts and wiki articles that would not loving let the subject lie.

I'd always heard that "Aerith" was the one used in the American release. I definitely remember it being "Aeris" in the UK when I played the game way back when. Aerith just sounds like an awkward lisp to me since it's not what I grew up with, but it's really not important.

More and more, men are going online to get dating advice, and many are discovering the Red Pill. Since pretty much every Blue Pill guy has tons of trouble with women, it's inevitable that more and more Blue Pill guys are going to go online for dating advice and discover the androsphere and the Red Pill. The Red Pill is also going to get more popular because it's logical and can easily be confirmed by anyone by simply observing female behavior. Any intellectually honest person will quickly realize that the Red Pill is true. The Red Pill is going to get popular because it is simply the only logical explanation of female behavior, and within 10 or 20 years, a significant portion of Western men will be Red Pill-aware. Once a man takes the Red Pill, there are a number of paths he can take. He can become a pick-up artist, a MGTOW or a traditionalist. However, regardless of what path they take, most Red Pill-aware men will not become beta providers, especially not for women who spent their 20s loving alphas. Because of this, women who are in their 20s now are going to have a lot of trouble finding a good husband when they get older. Most sexually active women in their 20s are probably planning on taming an alpha male when they get older. However, this is not going to work for three reasons. First of all, most alphas don't want to settle down to begin with. Secondly, even if they did, there simply aren't enough alphas for all of the sexually-active women today (remember the 80/20 principle). And third, alphas who do want to get married probably aren't going to marry women who have hit the wall; they're going to marry younger girls in their early 20s. By the time these beta males get good jobs and get their life in order, most of them are probably going to be bitter and spiteful from having been ignored by women for the majority of their life. Thus, they are probably not going to marry women who have hit the wall either. This sentiment is even becoming popular outside of Red Pill circles. Thus, a significant percentage of women who are in their 20s now are not going to be able to find a husband when they get older, and are going to spend their post-wall years alone. As they get older, they will realize that being promiscuous and loving tons of alphas when they were younger was a huge mistake, and will advise younger women to save their virginity for marriage. As a result, female virginity will become valuable again. The increase in value of female virginity will catalyze the reinstatement of traditional values. As female virginity becomes more valuable, women are going to be encouraged to marry when they're young, rather than in their late 20s or 30s. Pick-up artistry will start to be seen as immoral and predatory, and men who go their own way are going to be shamed for not marrying (although this is already true to a large extent). Porn is going to be demonized, and the production of it might be made illegal. In the same vein, I wouldn't be surprised if laws were put in place against adultery, and maybe even fornication. And ladies: my advice is to stop sleeping around and having sex with alphas. Although you can never get your virginity back, you can stop being promiscuous. If you stop being promiscuous, you will get a reputation for being "hard to get", and men will value you for having self-respect, and not having sex with alphas who don't care about you.
