That long barrel on SMGs only increases the minimum damage range is correct. It is utterly useless in Hardcore since it does not change anything from a 2 shot kill to a 1 shot kill. In Core it isn't completely useless in the same way, but it's utility is very, very, very little.

I decided on the Fresh Start because I figured I was low enough so that getting the stupid calling card wasn't that bad of a loss. And by low I meant "One level shy of Prestige 2". Which is pretty low since 2X weekends seem stupid common nowadays.
