It's also a third party company doing it on their behalf, AFAIK. I'm guessing it's more to do with PornHub potentially making money off that stuff rather than any actual stance against porn; they're not a stupid company, they know exactly what sort of stuff their playerbases come up with.

And now I feel dirty for discussing this.

Especially if the infringing material is using assets directly generated by the company, i.e. character model rips. It's also very incorrect. Trademarks require active protection since they have no time limit. Copyright lasts the entire 75 years no matter how little you enforce it.
Actually ripping another company's assets and using them is a bog standard copyright violation, nothing to do with "losing" the copyright.
