It looks like a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, so super happy about everything and dumb as a bag full of hammers. Funnily enough they're awful guard dogs despite how intimidating and muscular they look because they're sweethearts that just want to have fun and be around people which means that they're very prone to being stolen.

Prenda law came to prominence for placing porn movies they owned the rights to (while claiming to have a client, who turned out to be fictitious) onto torrent sites and then suing the people who downloaded them. Between that and assorted other schemes they illegally raked in 3+ million.

Their misadventures in law came out when someone stood up to them and judge didn't let them do their usual withdraw and made them account for themselves, and then everything started to unravel.

There's more to come when the DOJ actually prosecute and then their inevitable slapfight with a judge and rambling lunatic defence but given they probably thought they'd gotten away without any criminal proceedings, this is a nice gently caress you.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prenda_Law

Holy moly. Just read through the entire coverage there and the federal judge laid a pure heroin soaked schadenfreude smack down in his ruling from 2013:

"Note he concluded that Prenda's model was to demand settlement "a sum calculated to be just below the cost of a bare-bones defense." In footnote 5, explaining the amount of sanctions he imposed [80 grand], he says "This punitive portion is calculated to be just below the cost of an effective appeal."Daaaaayuuuum."

It's not a "chemical burn", it's just frostbite. The salt isn't reacting with your skin or anything, it's just lowering the freezing point of the water.
