Everyone suggests this but I think it'd just be bad. Most cards don't function at all, and there'd be no balance, color pie, or actual design. You'd never get a single coherent game. Not just broken, but literally nonfunctional.

I would imagine the best result would be to take an actual cube and make it about 10-20% functional cards from RoboRosewater. A lot of the most fun stuff would probably require some house rules / errata.

OK, that They was kicked reminder text is legitimately funny. Also if you want to do a dumb draft format just organize a reject rare draft. Best part is that if you just tell everyone to bring 45 rares they're OK parting with, you can make boosters out of those and take care of both entry fees and prize support in one fell swoop. Also no one will call for rare redrafting

There is no way a Cat card that gives Birds haste is a "random" creation at all whatsoever. I know it's fun to think these are all procedurally generated but I really, really doubt that's the case. But it would be fun to see a card with Protection from Carl.

One time it posted a 1 mana blue burn instant that did 5 damage to target creature or player, and then a red burn sorcery that cost 6 or something and did 1 damage to creatures. Without tagging the bot or anything I said that it was amazing that the bot knew mtg memes and the bot dude name searched to argue with me that it's all procedurally generated.

I assume RoboRosewater kicks out like a million loving cards, and the ones that get tweeted are curated. So for every "cat gives birds haste" card there's like a hundred variations of "cret gives boids montainspolk" type nonsense.

There's also different levels of the neural network, which is why they get different pictures. Desert Wooder was an advanced neural network, which means it's part of a batch of cards that were generated after a fuckload of time and generations it spent internally learning the rules of magic and templating and even English as a language and how it's used in relation to the words on the cards. Edit: Basically Recurrent Neural Networks are loving magic and can and will make stuff like that. mdct fucked around with this message at 22:39 on Jun 2, 2016 |

Don't draft The Sunburst Deck. Don't think that because Domain is open you can wheel the mana fixings and dive in. Don't try to be cute with Proliferate/Graft/Wither. Most importantly, if you meet a Waxmane Baku on the road, kill him.
