I mean it'll make you *better* because you can land sick direct hits but you can be hot garbage at ever hitting anything in your life and still be an entirely adequate Junkrat.

Though I've been trying to learn Mcree a bit because a legendary skin for him dropped (the stagecoach or whatever. The red one with the mustache and looks very wild west). I also tried out Zenyatta last night, and he's pretty fun! He gets wrecked super easily but in a friend group he's pretty good, and it feels like i'm making a real contribution fighting wise. Lucio is amazing but his attacks don't have the same oomph to them.

Tournaments are starting to mandate kill cam off in server options since it's currently a way for you to glean the opponent's ult charge. I just keep it on, see if they have ult and tell my team if they do, then hit escape and death spec my team for a few seconds.

Junkrat's main weapon is super underrated imo. Especially on escort missions where you can just stand somewhere behind the hovercar and bounce grenades under it into the opposing teams feet.

I got Tracer's slipstream skin on the first day but my reaction time is much too slow to use her. I've never played Roadhog but I think this weekend I'll give it a try. Maybe he's a better match for my abilities.

Hanzo is sniping done right whereas Widowmaker is sniping done terribly wrong: semi-auto with no scope sway from damage or moving, a hitscan weapon, an extremely fast damage boost and her at max damage does more than Hanzo does at full strength. All that on top of her mobility and her full-auto M1 attack for people who get close. Hanzo is far more rewarding and aside from his Q I find his Play of the Games to be some pretty fantastic sniping.

Hanzo isn't really a sniper, at least no more than Mei and Zenyatta are snipers. They have the capability of dealing damage at super long range but are better suited to mid-long range or closer.

Can someone describe how they use tracers rewind move and what alerts them to WHEN you should be using it? I always seem to be doing something for 3 seconds after I get hurt and then going whooops. And if you play tracer a lot, what's people's general reaction to getting shot in the rear end and then seeing you? Do they generally try to follow you after you blink once at least? Now that I sort of get Winston I feel like she's the only hero I have real big trouble utilizing.

Heals essentially roll back Mei's freeze progress on you, right? If so, is a speed aura or heal aura going to more reliably get you out of a Mei ult? (Pretend for the sake of the question Mei got killed already)

You can also dash in two directions and then rewind to confuse the crap out of someone trying to lead you. I typically rewind when I'm seeing sights line up for turrets or snipers.

I really really hope they buff Zenyatta's health just a wee bit (or replace his normal health with armour, which would make sense considering he's a bloody robot), because he's just so much loving fun to play with but I every time I see a widow I have to switch out before transcending into salt.

Do they generally try to follow you after you blink once at least? so here's how I play Tracer your job is to flank and pressure healers or ground-bound squishies like Torbjorn and Bastion, who will melt under your primary fire or be prime targets for her ult. Tracer can't get up onto places to contest against snipers like Hanzo and Widowmaker so generally don't bother, though you can do some tricksy poo poo that will take people off guard, mostly by blinking once or twice in mid-air to get access to points that people assume Tracer can't get to. shooting people in the back usually means they died, unless they're a tank, in which case you just shoot them until you need to leave with Recall because they're worth lots of ult meter all Support class heroes are food for you, you will kill all of them extremely quickly, although Lucio is naturally the hardest so dive him with ult (he's usually bunched up with his team) Tracer is unique because she can be flanking even if a given chokepoint is otherwise clogged up or impenetrable, because three blinks covers an absurd distance although you generally don't want to burn all three at once. Reaper has to do a slow channel to get past or up above people or risk blowing Wraith Form early, Genji has to climb walls, etc. - Tracer is just like "whoops she's gone" and the callout is usually just "be on the lookout for Tracer" or something in pub games, which is tremendously unhelpful, and that's if anyone bothers to call it at all you should be using Recall either after the team has begun focusing you down to try and kill you, immediately after a good Pulse Bomb stick if you don't want to Blink away instead, or the moment you see a fight/trap that you are sure not to win. hitting Recall on reaction to sustaining damage is useful and good against specific heroes and borderline useless against others. the moment you see McCree, if he's in FB range, just escape with Blinks or Recall or you die. if Reaper has seen you and he's close enough to hit you center mass, Blink or Recall or you die. if you are for some reason in a long hallway and Widowmaker is there, Blink or Recall or you die, etc. enemies will usually not even loving fight you back let alone chase you at lovely MMR; most heroes treat Tracer like an annoying gnat, and try to just tank through her damage and only turn on her if forced to. this is because the overwhelming majority of pub Tracers are really bad at their jobs. if you are even marginally accurate, the gameplan of "ignore Tracer, she'll do what she does, throw a token amount of resistance her way and we'll be fine" becomes fatal, and that's why she's talked up so often as a good solo queue team carry on Offense if you do get chased, escaping is trivially easy provided you have even basic map knowledge, between blinking in unpredictable directions, Recalling to confuse an opponent, or just double-blinking over a long gap like on Hanamura the biggest thing with Tracer is to avoid the one-shot, and right now the two best heroes one-shot the gently caress out of her (McCree and Widowmaker). if their efficacy falls off even a little bit, expect Tracer to start owning even harder

If so it isn't documented anywhere, even OW Infinity just says that it freezes people over the 3.5 second duration (and you need to be in contact with it or her M1 for 2 seconds to be frozen).

I'm level 68 and I have the following Legendaries Steambot (don't like it) Wooden Bastion (don't like it) Stonehardt (bought) Bloodhardt (dropped immediately after buying stonehardt) Young Genji (don't like it) Young Hanzo (don't like it) Mako (don't like it) I also bought 6 loot boxes because I'm a moron and each and every one had 3 greys and a single blue, so i'm feeling pretty good about my drops I think I could have had better luck but whatever it's just a video game
