Tebow peeing into his own mouth was indeed my idea, Mel isn't lying. There was no way I wasn't going to draw Tim Tebow for Mel's Patreon reward no matter who he wanted me to draw anyway (something he accepted) but I can't bring myself to be a complete dick to someone who has graciously donated to help keep my site alive, so I had to compromise so Tebow peed into his own mouth.

Taking a wild guess I think he's taking a high res photo, cutting out different sections and putting them on different layers in AE, then making them move towards the camera and such at different speeds at least that's how I would do it

Pretty close! I am editing huge res photos, so the gifs posted here are faaaarrr smaller than the project files. I'm primarily moving the camera, and sometimes little portions like a football or angle of an object. For Cam, I animated the arms and head with the puppet pins and a bunch of keyframes. I haven't hosed around with the motion speeds or some of the effects all that much, but keep in mind transparencies still work in Ae so you can add in snow/rain with only one or two layers Gotta say though, the backgrounds are an enormous pain in the rear end GonadTheBallbarian fucked around with this message at 22:37 on Jun 5, 2016 |
