I was playing BW control after rotation but switched to Grixis more recently. I am considering going back to BW but don't understand 2 of the sideboard options in recent lists. e.g. http://www.mtggoldfish.com/archetype/standard-w-b-control-25847#paper Dead Weight - I played with it a lot early on but it got less good with all the 3 toughness creatures around. Without fueling Delirium I don't see the point. Easy Kalitas kill on turn 5?? Eldrazi DIsplacer - I get its good on defence, but with so few colourless sources why the reappearance here? I would guess bouncing TKN is great but then a lot of other decks don't have it in the SB. Seems narrow with Linvala. Is it honestly that good now?

Think about how long the top-down view has been used for magic coverage and how long it took for a woman to get on camera before people realized that there might be a flaw with that angle. Then think about the fact that instead of offended parties saying "maybe this angle is not ideal" they blamed the woman for being busty and on camera  e: mcmagic posted:You just need more early interaction against Humans. tbh most magic players do

I don't think I know of anyone who is threatened the presence of women in magic. If anything the universal sentiment is that everyone wants more woman in magic. The issues you see in chat have very little to do with magic community at all. I don't know about you guys, but even states and regionals are getting a bigger female population at least in DFW. Twitch chat has a chat culture that is pretty absurd. It is just a constant race to the top of poo poo mountain and its in any stream that isn't heavily moderated. Some of the most popular streamers out there encourage it to their own personal benefit $$$.

There are definitely women Twitch streamers who show lots of cleavage on their webcam and spend more time reading chat than actually playing the games, and I know of one of them that does go to Magic events wearing very revealing clothing and plays with a custom playmat someone drew of herself naked hanging off of Garruk. Though this isn't representative of women in general and honestly is only very debatably a bad thing in the first place. The solution to nerds being gross is not force people not to take advantage of nerds being gross.
