I really dug the new Paper Girls, despite the weirdo time travellers showing up in the earlier issues, I didn't really consider it a time travel story per se but rather a period piece and so was still pleasantly surprised when the gang arrive in the present and meet forty year old Erin, who does a commendable job of not freaking the gently caress out considering.

Image has upped their game, can we really consider them indie still? Or is it the fact that the artists own their creations that has them earn that title?

They're not mainly publishing mainstream comics stuff. vOv I read the first few issues of Paper Girls but it just didnt grab me at all. Despite all the stuff happening, it didnt feel interesting in any way. Synthbuttrange fucked around with this message at 05:48 on Jun 6, 2016 |

I'm playing the new Mirror's Edge game, and it's getting downright weird how much its background resembles that of Lazarus: a post-economic collapse future where old-money families sit at the head of a corporate-led United States and enforce a brutal caste system. It's even got one of the family heads showing up with his extremely competent female bodyguard.

Shoulda renamed himself Behemoth instead of Baphomet, then. And I swear to god if Gillen kills him, I'll... well, I'll definitely complain about it on the internet. Also I do not even need to read that preview of Tales, or even know anything about it other than its creative team, to make it an insta-buy.

Man I just read the second hardcover, and while it's not like, high literature, Lazarus is a drat fun read with a lot of fun characters. It'd be a shame to let all that worldbuilding they did go to waste.

Well I probably misread it, but eve's and Alan's girlfriend both made it look like eve was really happy and really into her ex. Alan's girlfriend then says something about how happy she was to Mark and how she only left (her ex can't remember his name) so they could be a family again.
