I picked it up this weekend, the hardcore whiners are the same people who complain about super smash brothers not being final destination, no items, fox only. This game is stupid fun, and I'm not even mad about getting absolutely wrecked sometimes when the team matchups end badly, or the maps that have just a little too tight of choke points. I am a little annoyed at how long the run back to defense and attack is on some of the maps when you don't have a vertical movement option. Still a fun game, and the focus on positives really cuts out a lot of the toxic bullshit that seems to show up in moba-style games.

It's just that all of it is contained to (World of) Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Lost Vikings and Blackthorne. Rock 'n' Roll Racing is fantastic.

I am back after some overwatch. It is an okay game. Something bugs me about it though. Even when winning matches it doesn't feel like winning. Losing doesn't feel like losing. It feels like the game is running automatically and giving the illusion of choice and ebb and flow of battle. Maybe I'm too tired of fpses

Makes me think of planetside, where winning and losing doesn't seem to really ever matter. Can say the same for most games, but most games let you feel like you reached some kind of end, but the unending feel of it all makes it seem insignificant.

I'm guessing the point of it is unleashing your cooldowns and seeing their effect rather than winning or losing per se. That said, I don't play Bastion but I have a ton of fun backing him up as Mercy or Reinhardt. As a rotting old man, by FPS standards, I stick to characters that don't require much twitch skill. There has been a big push to monetize content and the competitive scene in Blizzard games for a while now. In order to charge you for new skins and ensure they get a cut from anybody doing PROGAMER knda stuff they will need to prevent modding. At best you may see player created content sold on an official shop with Blizzard picking up a %. Blizzard is pretty salty about not being able to charge people for Warcraft III custom maps (DOTA) or the Korean progamer Starcraft scene.
