I've been trying and failing for weeks to come up with something witty for a Nora Wexley/Shara Bey combo, but the best I can do is "Moms of the Resistance".

I really think Mana-rau will be a strong pairing, especially if there's a mechanic that lets her gain an evade token (which her text alludes to) is revealed in this wave.

Oh wait I just realised IG88 crew will do that. I hope there's something better than that though.

Yeah, that's where my local shark is looking at going. Basically using Manaroo as a token source for Fenn, so that Fenn can kick the poo poo out of things at range 1.

Depends on the type of recon. The US had things like the SR-71, and now drones, but then we also have things like the E-2 which are huge and just have weird bulky gear.

Maybe they needed to claim it was 'for reconnaissance' to get the funding past all those Senators who hate the idea of the Republic having an army. Next thing you know, the Chancellor will be using the fleet to overthrow democratic rule and turn us into some kind of galactic totalitarian state. It's creeping Sithism if you ask me

How to pitch ships to the Galactic Senate:

Interceptor -> very fast customs pursuer
Heavy fighter -> aggressive reconnaissance craft
Bomber -> armed engineering ship
Gunship -> clone survey transport
Star Destroyer -> hundreds of thousands of jobs created
Death Star -> decades of work for contractors in YOUR constituency

"It's a non-speaking role"
I managed to get a win tonight with Poe (PS 9 version) and Rey (in the new falcon) against a swarm of academies with Howl and a phantom. My opponent hasn't played in a while, so was a bit rusty on the rules.

A few times I was able to do unpredictable maneuvers (they thought I was going to use my 3 Sig, but I went forward instead) and ended up in positions where I could take shots and they couldn't.

The enemy swarm started in the left area (from my POV, including the phantom) and I started in the right, both pointed at my opponent. I immediately turned the Falcon to the left, and flew 1s each turn turtling and flew Poe a fast as he could along the right edge, boosting. We ended up converging pretty well and both hitting one of the ties. Rey used Expose a few times when she could hit enemy opponents when no one had shots against her. I also had strategist, though because it has to be exactly 2 range I only had a chance to use it once and I forgot. (I was normally using Gunner, but people kept just taking the first shot for 1 damage, so I wanted to try something different).

In the end Rey lost all her shields, and took some damage but held on to the end.
