yep they did eventually fix this, though. but they complained a lot about why they should do it which is kinda offputting

The update check URL has changed from keepass.info to:

code:

So, they didn't just cram in their lovely https cert that keepass.info serves. Seems like it's all being done right

code:
// Watching this code in the debugger may result in a

looks like the difference is whether if they sync it for you or you have to sync it for yourself between devices. also some sort of pro features in the mobile apps, they are included in sub but not in standalone purchase. also looks like upgrades are paid for the latter too

I spelled 'network' wrong.
I am getting less and less patient with my laptop, a circa-2007 T61, type 6459. It's a C2Duo 2.5, 4GB, 750 GB hybrid drive and 32-bit Windows 7 Enterprise. My first thought is to buy more memory and reinstall to 64-bit, but I'm running 2x2GB now and 4GB chips are hard to find and/or expensive. I could clone over to a true SSD, but 750 to 1TB drives are still pretty expensive, as in a quarter of the cost of a replacement laptop with a modern processor. I'm still running Lenovo BIOS and am happy enough with it. Getting an incrementally faster processor feels like a lot of work for a limited return.

Any ideas or links to cheap memory?

you should really buy a new laptop if this is your only laptop.

if this is a side project laptop, the thing to do would be to buy a smaller SSD - and honestly you're being CPU limited on it so restrict what you use it for accordingly.

until they finally make a modified NTVDM available for 64 bit windows, they'll have to supply a 32 bit version to suit enterprise needs

it usually ain't worth it to buy a whole new laptop every couple years, but you might have not had an ssd or a large enough one and do that, or ram dropped in price so you get double what you had etc
