That big post earlier that had links to the official battlefield page had a link to a discussion of a couple maps from the game, and one of them was the Italian alps with Austria-Hungary fighting the Italians, so it looks like your dreams are coming true.

Unless you decide to play hardcore.

I was looking at the leaderboard at the end of the final big match. Zac Efron and Richard Sherman were the only celebs who know how to play. Sherman was high up, must have capped a lot. Tyrese was 0-7 with 10 points. 10. I've only played BF3, which I enjoyed. I pretty much hate this era, but drat it looks amazing.

I mean I'm sure some of them were faking it, but I also wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of them were intense and into it for a lot of the time despite playing really badly. It's just that they were playing on a zero latency LAN vs. a bunch of people who play FPSs and Battlefield games obsessively, so even if they were solid players in the "dude who plays when his busy schedule permits" sense they're not going to do well when put into an environment where everybody else is the sort of person who will routinely place near the top of any random server they hop on to.

Looks like passive hp regen in tanks outside of combat is gone too. There where some times where he gets out of combat and his hp doesn't go back up.

How do planes repair? In BF3 I'd land in some random field outside the map and fix it there so I could stay in one plane for up to an hour lol. Honestly it was pretty lame, hopefully they've got a better idea for BF1. Also any good fighter footage?

The 4 maps appear to be: Britain defending vs Germany at Amiens (Feat. armored train)- urban map Britain defending vs Germany on St Quentin Scar- the map we've seen Italy attacking Austria Hungary at Monte Grappa- Mountaintop fortresses, also features a Zeppelin. Italy defending vs ??? (probably Austria Hungary) on "Empire's Edge" featuring Dreadnoughts. Also, apparently the only way to repair vehicles is either a medic with a repair kit, or to spawn in them as the driver/pilot, which switches your class to the pilot/driver class. That class can repair out of combat by holding down X while not moving/shooting. In a plane you can be gliding but I don't think you can direct your plane at all.
