It was odd the way he was so loud and insistent that they get security to remove him, but then went meekly and without any trouble once Matt "The Security Guard" Damon actually arrived. I'm not sure what he thought he was gaining from all that. The next video that played for me was Eddie Izzard in drag debating an EU politician. It's too long for me to sit through, right now, but I am betting there's good stuff hidden in that one.

A multi-million dollar crypto-currency disaster that doesn't have to do with buttcoins? http://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2016-06-17/blockchain-company-s-smart-contracts-were-dumb TLDR, hacker steals 60 million dollars from techno-libertarians, who later realize that their own absurd "untouchable blockchain contracts" mean that the theft might actually be technically legal.

What's with the image titles on that site, is it user submitted or random or what? It's confusing because I see a title like PlasticShoddyKissingbug and it's a guy driving his motorcycle into a pool or something.

TLDR adding a ton of random characters, numbers and symbols makes it harder to type by hand, because people apparently do that so picking 3 random words from a pool gives a near infinite amount of URL's that can be hand typed and remembered far easier. Like passwords but far less useful.

Chicago Sun-Times sends a journalist to do yet another "look how easy it is for someone without a criminal record to purchase a rifle" story. Gun store he goes to rejects his purchase because he has an admitted history of alcoholism and charges of domestic violence, journalist spins the story as "look at this conspiracy to not sell guns to journalists." http://thisainthell.us/blog/?p=66402 quote:Would-be terrorists can buy guns. Insane people can buy guns. But reporters . . . that’s a different story. Gun makers avoid publicity because the truth is this: they sell tools of death to frightened people and make a fortune doing so. Of course, had they sold him the gun, he'd have spun it as "look how easy it is for someone with a history of alcoholism and domestic violence to buy a gun." Gun store's response to his article: quote:Mr. Steinberg was very aggressive on the phone with Sarah, insisting he was going to write that we denied him because he is a journalist. “Journalist” is not a protected class, BTW. We contacted his editor and said that, while we don’t normally provide a reason for a denial, in this case to correct the record before you publish, here’s why; we pasted a couple links of press accounts of his past behavior and his admission of same. He’s free to believe or disbelieve that’s why he was denied, but that *is* why he was denied. There was no “We’ll see you in court!!!!” type of language from us – we simply want to set the record straight. That it undermined his thesis and rendered the column incoherent isn’t really our problem, is it? Thanks for your support.

I've seen a few of those get shared on Facebook. One of them had the journalist talk about how "You can just walk into a store in Virginia and walk out with an AR-15 Babykiller-o-Matic in five minutes!" Except he admitted to chickening out before actually trying to sign any paperwork, so he never got to even reach the background check before stuttering out an apology and leaving the store.
