SKA SUCKS

MrBling posted:

It was a pretty fun show, but very obviously a pilot episode. The interviews were not really interviews really, since they were so short.

It would be neat to have a late night show that showcased lesser known bands or non-mainstream stuff and not necessarily just metal but all sorts of underground music.

The blind audition bit was great and I would love to actually see that on a real show, but make it actually real with a hidden camera etc.

Judging by having Laura Stevenson on the pilot odds are they would be metal themed, but have guests from all different areas

Burr actually contributes good entertainment to this world, unlike Trivium, so you're comparison is quite off base. Not to mention that Burr has extolled how much he appreciates death metal drumming, even if it's not his cup of tea.

So if Dane Cook extolled the virtues of tuning low and chugging slow would that suddenly make him good in your book?

He used that bit on an episode of his atest (and sadly last) season of his BBC 4 show and the episode ended with a fake "And now on BBC 4, Orientering with Napalm Death" trailier, complete with music.
This being BBC 4 and the most arty, high brow and unwatch parts of the BBC, it does seem like the sort of show they'd put out.

season 2 I think won a Bafta, so they have 2 keep it on now, because it's prestige TV.

It was raining during MDF when these guys were on, and I was hanging out under the bridge (down town). After listening to this album a hole lot I feel ashamed that I did that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZhux8pHjkM
