Does anyone know where I can find the production credits for Famous Dex's Heartbreak Kid tape? Really good beats on that tape.

That new YG album is the most 6.5/10 poo poo I've ever heard. A bunch of West Coast beats with no good hooks or character. You know your album is in trouble when a Drake feature is a breath of fresh air.

If you like Billy Woods/Armand Hammer, Elucid's solo album from a couple of months ago flew totally under the radar but is an excellent release.

Yeah my krazy life is way better imo. still brazy sounds like a bunch of songs i already heard before, totally generic.

also nobody probably cares but i didn't give the new j-zone album enough credit previously. it's gotten a ton of play from me, the production on it is just pristine.

It's almost halfway through the year can we talk about the best releases so far? I've missed a lot of stuff.

I guess for me 3001, TLoP, and King of Memphis have gotten the most play (e; and Lil Boat). I'm digging this Deniro Farrar too thanks for the cosigns.

Top 5 for me so far are:

Chance the Rapper - Coloring Book
Aesop Rock - The Impossible Kid
Joey Purp - iiiDrops
Elucid - Save Yourself
Open Mike Eagle + Paul White - Hella Personal Film Festival

I found TLoP to be really uneven.

So far I'd say TLoP is the best thing out this year (even though it's uneven as all get out, the high points are just like whoa). Aesop's album I'd slot in second, and then either Deniro Fararr or J-Zone. Then Joey Purp. Still have to listen to the Euclid more, but upon first listen that's def in the running as well.

Yeah agree with you. There's some rubbish on TLoP but the highlights (FSMH, Waves, Ty$ on Real Friends) are the best stuff all year.
