I show how to get onto the ship in JRB using 0x A presses. After swimming into the ship for over an hour at different locations and at different points in time, I finally found a way to swim into it such that Mario ends up walking on it! It's extremely precise, both position-wise and time-wise. Once I was on it though, frame walking up to the top was easy. At this time, I'm not sure if it's possible to do this without the additional speed from the water shell.

Anyway, this means that the Red Coins on the Ship Afloat star and the 100 coin star can each be collected 0x, and so they're no longer required to be paired up in order to save A presses (though they will probably end up being paired up anyway in order to save time). Thus, this improvement saves exactly 1 A press off the 120 star ABC run.

Some part of me is in awe of the dedication this takes.
