You can make a pretty good argument that they have been screwed over by the rest of the UK by being dragged out. In any case, this is certainly the kind of big material change in circumstances that would justify a second referendum.

Does anyone have a small graph of what happened to the US economy in 1776? I would like to examine a single day of it so that I can extrapolate the entire future from it and retroactively determine whether leaving the BE was a sound financial move.
