Generations is my favorite Sonic game and Racing Transformed is my favorite game with "Sonic" in the title, Lost World looks cool too. If Fungah gets that bundle he's a lucky man.

i do love sonic but while generations is fun, it still has issues for me. namely having any cutscenes at all, dumb boss fights past the first one and a lot of the challenges aren't very fun. also i know it released as a 30 dollar budget title but only having one level for each major sonic game left me wanting more. i grew up playing sonic 2/knuckles a fuckload and would kill to see way more stages from those games given a modern take

My biggest issue with generations was its overuse of early levels from the games it pulled from. there wasn't anything that felt like a final level and something like egg fleet from heroes or final rush from adventure 2 would have been great to play in the generations engine.

i recall the complains about too many city stages haha. yeah, imagine hydrocity or flying battery done with the same production values and polish. Thankfully we dont have to worry about that anymore because sonic team is busy re-re-reinventing the wheel after like 3 gameplay styles

well yea theres no contest city escape is the iconic one from that game i would have liked a bit more variety, I would've loved a visually dizzying and epilepticaly bombastic carnival night zone, but instead we got a casino night zone pinball table, albeit with a cool remix e: generations is 5 years old what the hell

whats up with the sonic team that they made generations and everyone thought it was great and a return to form and then they tried to reinvent the wheel for no reason. like there is an imaginary audience theyre trying to please with new sonic ideas when everyone just wants more of the old stuff
