I'm fine with a sex appeal characters, skimpy clothing or suggestive moves meant to say something about the character itself. In most cases, this just isn't how it works. They give a character a bikini for no god damned reason, and every other female character already has some ridiculous allergy to clothing for no other reason than "we need to make the characters sexy" - it just blows my mind. Juri as an example is something I wouldn't mind in a little less clothing in a vacuum, seductiveness is part of her character and how she operates. With the plethora of characters wearing skimpy poo poo for ceremony alone, I'm actually for some reason happier than shes comparatively covered up. Skimpy clothes and butt-slapping could have been Mika's schick, but we also have to have Cammy, Laura and Chun just letting it all hang out while simultaneously trying to play the "respectable strong female" role.

i probably won't play SFV anymore but I think the designs for Jurien are good. urien looks sick as hell in the Yakuza-chic open collared suit and juri's outfit is a neat take (though I liked her winter coat from that one "cutscene" with Abel in someone's arcade mode more)

While I'm sad the one female character without skimpy outfit options so far is going to get one, it's a pretty drat cool beach outfit. it's not even that cheesecaky, apart from it being a bikini. Pretty much every girl has none cheese cake outfits available. Characters like Hitomi and Mila even dress like normal people - on the top of my head I can think of four outfits for Hitomi that are non-cheese and available for free. Heck, if I limit or turn off the jiggle (which is something you can do) and stick to standard outfits I can play the game with my nephews without their mom complaining Unfortunately the characters' faces still make them look like realdolls.

Looks like its time again to here what goons think about the deep and intricate levels of street fighters and fighting game character design. I'm very cautious about this update, juri and urien. They have too good a track record of loving this game up to suddenly do something people might like. Give it a week. Still not sure about costumes being 4 bucks a pop AND needing to unlock colors but maybe they'll change that this time (lol)

They've already said premium costumes are gonna be 4 bucks and have unlockable colors as well. The DLC characters already have their premium stuff accessible if you got season pass and need their colors unlocked too, enjoy that.
