I like D_T because even when his opinion sucks he puts a lot of thought into whatever he's talking about regardless of if I agree or not. It's respectable. Dude is just as sometimes dumb but really engaged fan, as are we all deep down.

I just watched Batman Bad Moon an hour ago, and they make fun of Batwing for choosing the name of their plane there. The movie was ok, but they went loving nowhere with the Clone Damien subplot.

Alfred punches a dude into a big machine, which shorts out. Hatter is connected the machine and it causes his head to explode. I'm alright with all the villain kills since it's a series of movies and not a tv show. They've got a huge stable of characters to use.

I don't know if you've read her original origin story in Elegy, where she beats up a mugger, gets startled by Batman, who was there to stop the mugging himself, and falls down (she was also drunk at the time). Batman merely helps her to her feet and swings off, and she sees the Batsignal in the sky as a different kind of a call to arms. In the movie she is attacked by a crowd of dudes and ultimately needs Batman's help to take them out, then she slaps his hand away when he tries to help her up. Batman strides away sneering "You're welcome." She spends the entire movie shooting at people with guns and acting like a snotty teenager with something to prove. She's basically portrayed as the lesbian version of Jason Todd which is a phrase I am SO sorry I had to type.

Except Batman actually rejects Huntress for killing people instead of accepting her wholeheartedly and telling his son who's struggling against his assassin training how cool and good she is for killing people.
